Vista SP1 through Windows Update
April 9th, 2008A couple weeks ago I got Windows Vista Service Pack 1 through Windows Update on my HP Tablet PC. The update hadn’t appeared on my desktop computer, though. Sure, I could have gone to microsoft.com and manually downloaded the update, but I wanted to just let Microsoft manage when my computer was ready. Besides, my desktop box is running just fine, so I felt no reason to rock the boat. Well, it came! After patch Tuesday it seems that my computer now has all of the right driver updates to gracefully update to Vista SP1.

if you turn aero off your dwn process goes down bout 75% saving your processor, of course for some reason my computer isnt taking sp1 as well.
Well, on a capable system, AERO frees up system resources by moving more work to the graphics processor.
